Thank you for visiting my profile! I specialize in the treatment of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and related disorders. OCD is characterized by obsessions and compulsions that cause significant distress and impairment. An estimated 2-5% of the population is affected by OCD (children and adults). The gold standard treatment for OCD is Exposure & Response Prevention (ERP), which is a specific kind of cognitive behavior therapy. Along with this, I also use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness. I am also trained in Comprehensive Behavior Intervention for tics and Tourette Syndrome (CBIT). Treatment plans are tailored to individual needs - targeting obsessions, compulsions, reassurance seeking and avoidance behaviors.
