My training and experience as a clinical social worker have taught me to, above all else, value providing secure and confidential psychotherapy to adolescents and adults. No two individuals or families are alike and, as a result, I utilize an eclectic treatment approach centered around psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and interpersonal neurobiology intervention strategies. Specialty areas of treatment include work with athletes and mental performance (see website link for more info on sports), chronic pain, weight-loss, anxiety, low self-esteem, depression and other mood disorders, family conflict, life transitions, and ADHD. I have a personable, relatable approach to developing a relationship with my clients to facilitate the genuine sharing of deeply personal thoughts and feelings. My hope is that, through this approach, my clients will feel comfortable broaching difficult to discuss subjects so that they may work toward health, healing, and happiness.
