Trauma looks different for everyone but always takes a toll. Sometimes it is marked by one event and sometimes trauma accumulates over time. Maybe you grew up in an abusive household or experienced physical or sexual abuse. Maybe you've experienced a recent disaster or a life altering accident. Maybe you're dealing with overwhelming grief. Perhaps you've faced discrimination or haven't been accepted for who you are. Trauma can cause us to get stuck in the past, dilute our life in the present and steer us further and further away from our future goals. View 4 Photos I'm passionate about working with folks who have been impacted by trauma and am trained in several evidence based approaches including EMDR, CBT and DBT. In addition, I also have an expertise in treating depression and anxiety. Therapy sessions are collaborative, focused and action oriented.
