My path to social work was deliberate and deeply personal. In my early fifties, I earned my MSW from the NYU Silver School of Social Work, returning to a passion I had carried since childhood. Before that, I built a career as an attorney, spending 13 years advocating for clients and helping them navigate complex systems. While I valued advocacy and critical thinking, I longed for work that connected with people more personally. Becoming a social worker has allowed me to unite legal skills with my deeper purpose and walk alongside people as they heal and grow through loss, grief, and profound transformation
