I specialize in couples therapy, from premarital counseling to 2 ¼-day intensives through Couples Therapy, Inc. I take great joy in helping couples gain relational insights and apply new tools to form a more satisfying relationship. My approach incorporates experience in social work (BSW), ministry (MDiv, DMin, CSD), and counseling (MAC, LCPC, EMDR, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Certified Enneagram Coaching). I am specialty trained by The Gottman Institute in affair recovery. Through these disciplines, I've noticed overlapping consistency in what brings healing, wholeness, and harmonious relationships. Theoretically, I am grounded in Attachment Theory, Emotionally-Focused Therapy, Christian theology, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and Gottman Method Couples Therapy. As a certified Enneagram Coach, I recognize that some thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are temperamentally normative and I help clients grow within their temperament.
