I am a "regular guy" kind of therapist. I don't usually wear a tie (though I have been known to wear a fedora or other hat). I try not to speak in psychobabble. I bring 35 years of experience to the counseling relationship. I operate from a strengths-based perspective, empowering my clients to make positive changes in their lives. My "ideal" clients are those individuals who want to work from a strengths-based perspective to improve their quality of life. I don't like see people stuck in a "sick" or "victim" role because they lack meaning in their lives or are trying to change things outside of their personal control.
