I am deeply curious about people, and love helping them discover unexplored parts of themselves. Seemingly simple questions like "What do I want from life and how do I go about getting it?" become less straightforward when we realize that the answers we've previously given are not sufficient. A more satisfying relationship with the world and with ourselves is possible, and I hope to help in making progress towards that goal. As a psychoanalyst, I am trained primarily in the act of listening. I invite the people I work with to put all of their feelings into words, a kind of translation. We both then have the opportunity to makes sense and meaning out of how the inner world of mind and heart makes contact with the outside world of relationships and other sources of gratification.
