I am Eileen Beirich, PsyD, MFT. I encourage patients toward an acquired awareness and management of conflict out of attachment and self-regulation issues. Using dynamic family systems, I begin to review a patient's family of origin story about how life has been lived. I introduce an idea of looking at life's picture like it is a tapestry. A tapestry is constructed of many colored threads laid down next to each other to blend into a picture. Sometimes a person does not have a completed tapestry picture of life.
