I became a therapist because I saw early on how men are conditioned to minimize their own emotional needs and avoid vulnerability. For my own life, I wanted to model something different. In the decade since I started down this path, I've met many people grappling with social expectations as I have. My experience working with clients of all backgrounds has reaffirmed for me that, while we all lead very different lives, today's world nudges each of us towards isolation, anxiety, insecurity, and overwhelm.
