I'm a licensed clinical social worker who has been working with children and families for over 20 years. I've worked as a school social worker in a large district, with youth from pre-k through high school. I'm knowledgeable about educational, as well as social-emotional, barriers that can make it appear as if children are unmotivated, or not working to their potential. Using a strengths and solution focused perspective helps children and families work through obstacles preventing them from identifying their unique abilities and promise. I specialize in play therapy with children ages 6-10, but work with children of all ages.
