Congratulations on taking the first step in improving your life satisfaction and feeling better than you did yesterday! Seeking therapy is a significant step in prioritizing your mental well-being, and I am proud of you. You should be, too. I will be with you every step of the way, so you’re not on this journey alone. I specialize in helping people analyze their circumstances, explore the thoughts that arise from those circumstances, and process their feelings so that they can make the behavioral changes they wish to make to improve their overall life satisfaction. In our first session, we will start building a relationship by sharing introductions. I will have read your intake and answers to your mood scale questions; however, I would like to hear how you describe your reasons for seeking therapy at this point in your life. I will ask probing questions to better understand where you are coming from and your history.
