When you’ve experienced something painful, it can change the way you see yourself, your relationships, and even the world around you. You may feel on edge, shut down, or like you’re carrying a weight no one else can see. My role is to offer a safe, steady space where you don’t have to go through it alone. Through curiosity and meaningful conversation, you can move forward. In my practice, counseling can include humor; both laughter and tears are important parts of healing and growing. While I certainly respect that serious matters are discussed in therapy, we can usually find ways to enjoy our progress.
