I have served as a mental health provider for seventeen years. I greatly enjoy the process of fostering insight and self awareness as a collaborative process with clients. I have worked with diverse groups, including military/veterans, adult-learners, and minority populations. I have successfully aided clients with managing the discomforts associated with anxiety, mood disorders, grief/loss, and addictive disease. I believe that all people are capable of change. The first session may be anxiety provoking for most clients. It is important to normalize this emotion. This delicate time will be used to gather information and establish the therapeutic relationship.
