Many people have started to recognize that the things they're struggling with day-to-day are directly connected to the things that have happened in their past; they're tired of having band-aid solutions, and want instead to try to actually heal the wound. Most of the people I work with have experienced complex trauma and may have previously been diagnosed with mood disorders or personality disorders. The majority of these people have decided that they can no longer work toward their future without acknowledging and healing from the impact of their past.
