I approach therapy from a holistic, client-centered, strengths-based approach. I utilize the cognitive behavioral, and acceptance and commitment therapy models to help clients make sense of the past and build new resources to take ownership of the future. In addition, I incorporate mindfulness-based techniques to aid clients in connecting to their internal world and recognizing their thoughts and behaviors without judgment, so they can live a more fulfilling life. I am also trained and informed in positive psychotherapy and solution-focused therapy approaches.
