I look forward to meeting you! My name is Kat Boman (she/her) and I'm a social worker in KS and MO. I completed my Masters of Social Work at UMKC in 2016 and have experience working with oncology patients, those exploring gender identity, people struggling with anxiety and depression, and Borderline Personality Disorder. Currently I do full-model DBT, CBT, and provide gender affirming care. I consider myself a generalist and enjoy working with people of all backgrounds with a variety of belief systems. My goal is to create a judgement-free and compassionate space where you can explore, have tough conversations, cry together and probably even laugh together. I work with teens and adults, but am currently only accepting day time appointments (after school and evening times are full until Summer 2026).
