Here you are...Starting the therapy journey, looking for the right therapist at a time when you are probably most vulnerable and in despair. It can be a daunting process but congratulations on taking the first step! With my warm, non-judgmental and understanding approach I will help you on your journey to understand the difficulties you are facing. My specialities include mood disorders, grief, trauma and relationship issues. I will teach you basic cognitive behavioral techniques to address dysfunctional thought patterns and will delve deeper with you to seek to understand the underlying root causes and re-appearing patterns. I work from an integrative perspective and rely on a broad range of techniques, including cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, mindfulness-based, systemic and humanistic interventions. My primary orientation and lens through which I conceptualize is Object-Relations Theory. I am an experienced psychologist with extensive training and multiple certifications.
