I specialize in helping adults of all ages work their way through difficult life adjustments. Divorce, retirement, moving, isolation, and grief are some of the more difficult transitions. Whether suffering from loneliness, depression, anxiety, displacement, chronic illness, or end-of-life issues, we will work together to build a new way of looking at the world and functioning within it. As parents age, it can be as difficult for their adult children to cope with those changes as it is for the parents. I work with either the adult children or the aging parents to make that process as smooth and meaningful as possible. For those unable to travel, I offer supportive in-home psychotherapy services.
