The growth journey from childhood to adulthood can be challenging and stormy at times. Especially when there are chronic issues, escalating symptoms or sudden life changes, adults caring for children may find themselves in the vulnerable position of seeking assistance outside of their direct circle of support. As a counselor by nature, I have spent my career passionate about strengthening families and helping youth to flourish in the midst of difficult life circumstances. I specialize in the common challenges of childhood/adolescence/young adulthood and offer parent support services as well. With a background in child development, attachment and play, I incorporate a play-based and expressive approach to therapy where clients can safely explore their inner world and express the language of the heart. I am also a trained parent consultant and have found great success working with parents in the process of therapy to maximize therapeutic gains.
