At some point in life, everyone experiences problems in daily living and can use an objective, experienced therapist to help them become aware and create positive change. In my 20+ years as a licensed therapist, art therapist and licensed school psychologist, I have worked with individuals and couples from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds, sexual orientation and ethnicities with problems ranging from difficulty in functioning to adjustments in living. My conceptualizations of challenges are generally relational and psychodynamic, but my approach may also incorporate mindfulness or systems theories. Additionally, I do psychoeducational evaluations for children and adults with suspected learning and social/emotional disorders.
