I’m Mi Ae, a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and Certified Couples and Sex Therapist. I work with individuals and couples who find themselves at a crossroads longing for deeper connection but feeling stuck in patterns of disconnection, emotional distance, unspoken hurt, working through the fallout of betrayal, or wrestling with the ache of unmet needs in your most intimate relationships. I help individuals cultivate a stronger sense of self while staying emotionally engaged, learning to navigate the tension between togetherness and individuality. My approach is rooted in a relational-attachment lens, woven with psychodynamic insight and the clarity of differentiation-based work. I explore how early attachment patterns shape how we reach for connection, protect ourselves, and respond to distance, while creating space for healing, deeper understanding, and growth.
