Many children and adults suffer from a hyper-sensitivity to specific common soft sounds such as a chewing, breathing, snoring, typing, (and almost any soft sound). This condition is called misophonia, were a person hears or sees a "trigger" and has an immediate anger/disgust response. My ideal client is someone who is motivated and willing to work to greatly reduce or eliminate their misophonic reactions.
