As a DBT therapist, I work with clients who have a history of intense emotional experiences. This might include suicidal behaviors/ideation, self-harm, substance use, unstable and/or intense interpersonal relationships, impulsivity, and emotional reactivity. Individuals who are interested in learning new strategies to embrace and effectively manage their emotions, behaviors, and environments will benefit greatly from the evidence-based practice of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). View 4 Photos My job as a DBT clinician is to be honest, non-judgmental, and accepting of those who are seeking support in self-discovery and healing. We will work within the DBT model to learn skills related to mindfulness, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and emotion regulation and then integrate those skills into your daily life.
