My name is Patty and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I operate from a person-centered strengths based perspective. This means that you, the client, are the expert in the room and the strengths that you bring in are important. The journey to a fulfilling life may require journeys into old memories, new relationships, current and past job experiences, and so much more. I would love to be a part of this journey with you. The first session is a getting-to-know you phase where I try to learn about you but you are also seeing if I am a good fit for you. During this first session background information is collected along with what the presenting concern. During this session the goal is to begin building a working therapeutic alliance through the use of conversation.
