I am most skilled in working with people on issues related to adverse childhood experiences, trauma, and anxiety. I focus on attachment work and believe in everyone's ability to heal. I communicate directly and often use humor in my work with people; I find it's a very effective tool, when used appropriately, to build our therapeutic alliance and do the hard work required to move your life forward. I have 30+ years of experience working in a variety of social work settings. I am trained in the clinical interventions of AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy),CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Problem-Solving therapy. I work very relationally with clients to co-construct a platform for healing.
