I love learning about people through their own words: what they experience, what they care about, and what they want out of life. I work with the conviction that everyone deserves to be heard, to feel respected, and to have their needs and wishes taken seriously. I'm a professional clinical counselor, mission-driven to deliver the best care I can for substance use and other mental health issues. I am constantly reading, learning, and thinking about how better to do this work, in the spirit of curiosity. I work with adult individuals (ages 18+) on substance use disorders, mental health issues like anxiety and depression, and difficulties in work or relationships. My style as a clinician draws upon clients’ intuition, sense of meaning, and humor. I focus on clarifying problems, identifying motivations, and helping clients move from thinking to doing.
