In my practice I look to connect with a client’s desire to move forward and make change in life and to progress through challenges, as well as through traumas. Through the therapeutic relationship the goal is to increase self-understanding as means toward informing healthy growth and adaptive change. With young adults/adults sharing & dialogue are the primary foundations building a therapeutic relationship. With children, I am more playful and body-based and can utilize outdoor opportunities in combination with sharing and dialogue is the effective clinical method toward achieving a therapeutic relationship.
