Hi! My name is Shannon and welcome you to searching for a therapist to start this journey. Taking this first step is difficult and hope I can help lessen the nerves by bringing authenticity and empathy to each session. I strive to develop a strong relationship with my clients by providing a safe and caring environment as I feel the client/therapist relationship is the foundation for change. Whether or not you are wanting a more directive approach or someone to sit with you during difficult times, I am committed in joining you to find what goals will help you progress towards the outcomes you are hoping for. I specialize in working with ages 5+ dealing with anxiety, OCD and other various concerns through approaches of play therapy, CBT, EMDR and/or ERP. My focus of counseling is to collaborate with you in order to alleviate the symptoms that impact not only your child, but family as a whole.
