I provide a warm, compassionate environment, offering sessions that are collaborative, validating and goal-oriented. I have a BA in psychology from Columbia University and a MSW from Fordham University. I also have a Certificate in Trauma Specialization from Fordham University. I am trained in "gold standard" evidence-based treatments including Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Trauma Systems Therapy. To these therapeutic modalities, I use a person-centered and strengths-based approach that empowers and motivates individuals as they engage in the therapeutic process.
