Thank you for visiting me. As a licensed mental health counseor (LMHC) in Florida with 12 years of experience, I use evidence-based interventions, such as CBT and Trauma-Informed Therapy, to support individuals through various minor as well as complex emotional landscapes. I believe in a holistic, empathetic, and collaborative, partnership that honors each person's unique story and strengths. I am passionate about working with teens, young adults, men, women, military veterans (I am veteran myself), and the elderly. I employ a little laughter in session (only when appropriate) as humor can be helpful at times. During the first session, I begin to build a friendly rapport with my clients while gathering information to assess my client's needs. I establish expectations of our therapeutic relationship, discuss the necessary boundaries, and help my clients feel comfortable to open up, using empathic listening.
