Welcome! I am a clinical social worker with a passion for supporting people as they increase self awareness and tap into their own ability to heal themselves. I’ve worked with all kinds of people managing many different challenges. I specialize in trauma, life transitions, depression, and anxiety. My approach is client-centered, strengths- and mindfulness-based. You are the expert of your life, and my job is to witness your process and offer guidance. Building self-compassion and acceptance are key components to recovery and wellness, and I will work with you to nurture these practices. I have advanced training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). I'm also trained in Somatic Integration & Reprocessing, ACT, Nonviolent Communication, and Emotional Freedom Techniques/Tapping. I draw from almost two decades of experience as a yoga teacher to bring mindfulness- and body-based practices into our work together.
