Hello, I am Divya Gupta-Torres. As a clinician, I have worked in a variety of settings including, inpatient psychiatric units as well as a wide range of outpatient mental health services that provided individual, family, couples, and group counseling using a wide range of modalities. In addition, I have an extensive amount of experience working with individuals and families facing the unique challenges of substance abuse. Some of the settings in which I have addressed these challenges are inpatient substance abuse treatment crisis intervention services Intensive Outpatient Programs and Methadone clinics. I used a wide range of treatment modalities in these settings. My diverse cultural background allows me to understand and guide my clients with empathy, active listening, patience, and validation.
