Rarely is change easy, and frequently it is the last option we choose because it requires courage and strength, which during difficult times may feel insurmountable. I would like to offer you my perspective on courage, change and transformation; I believe they are small movements forward when you feel like you can’t move at all. That movement can be as little as being open to the idea of change, which can lead to a willingness to do something different. Therapy is a safe environment where we can explore the shadows together, shining a light into the darkness and softening the fears surrounding them.
