I commonly hear, "Why do I keep feeling anxious/depressed?"; "Why do I keep doing the same thing?" I help people at all stages of life figure out those answers and use what they learn about themselves. There is no lasting change without first understanding. Through individual and group therapies, I help people recognize their unique patterns. Through respectful conversation and observations, we will work toward identifying your healthy and unhealthy character traits. As you become a better observer of your existing patterns, you can be freer to live healthier and avoid recurrent pitfalls. As needed, I use psychological tests to answer diagnostic questions, plan intervention strategies, monitor treatment progress, and document eligibility for school, mental health, and social services. I help by gathering and integrating information from interviews, records, behavioral observations, work samples, and norm-referenced tests.
