I'm a licensed therapist that brings over 20 years of clinical experience treating clients with complex trauma/PTSD, anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, sex addiction, and other co-occurring mental health disorders. I've had the honor and privilege of working for the Fire Department of New York (FDNY) from July 2002-November 2005, treating individuals impacted by the events of 9/11. While in NYC, I was trained in Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) by the founder of EMDR, Dr. Francine Shapiro. Additionally, I was trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples by EFT founder Dr. Sue Johnson.
