I have 42 years of experience providing psychotherapy to individuals, couples and families for a wide range of problems including depression, anxiety, relationship, job and school difficulties, loss, trauma and lifestyle changes. I have extensive psychodynamic training and my therapeutic orientation is a synthesis of this background with cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal and relational approaches. My work emphasizes the uniqueness of each individual and the belief that therapy is a collaborative process. With empathy, compassion, yet objectivity, I strive to help people gain/regain a positive sense of self and lead more productive, gratifying lives in their relationships and in their work.
