I am Amanda Prior a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia. I have experience working with at risk youth, children, adults, families, and couples. My experience has been working in a residential setting as well as private practice. I have completed my education and continue training to work on a professional level to help you. In addition, I too have had my own challenges and life experiences so I know how difficult working on ourselves can be. I have a deep appreciation for the courage that it takes to seek help and to start therapy. Talking about our feelings, experiences and thoughts can be extremely hard. I take pride in providing a safe, calm trusting space to build a rapport naturally. We will work through your experiences and issues at your pace. I have found that this allows you to feel open and comfortable sharing the emotional load you have been carrying. Therapy is not a ‘one size fits all.’ We will work together to customize your needs and goals.
