I believe in the inherent resilience of individuals and their capacity for growth and healing. My goal is to empower clients to overcome obstacles, cultivate self-awareness, and live fulfilling lives aligned with their own values. As a spouse of a veteran and retired firefighter/paramedic, I bring a unique perspective to my counseling practice. My journey has been shaped by experiences witnessing the challenges faced by first responders, veterans, and their families; both on the job and at home. These experiences have fueled my passion for mental health advocacy and led me to pursue a career in counseling. I am a certified EMDR clinician specializing in first responders, veterans, and their families. My counseling approach is rooted in CBT principles, emphasizing the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I work collaboratively with clients to identify negative thought patterns and develop practical skills to challenge and change them.
