I view therapy as a rare opportunity to nurture your inner world and be truly "seen" by another person. When you confront your pain, and hear your own voice in a space free from ridicule and shame, you can begin speaking to and treating yourself with compassion. Over the past 10 years, I have had the privilege of working in a variety of clinical settings, including medical detox, residential treatment, intensive outpatient program, community mental health and outpatient counseling. My approach integrates Cognitve Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy and Community Reinforcement Family Training (CRAFT). As a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) my role isn’t to discourage you from using substances, but rather to invite you to make decisions about what YOU want that your relationship with substances to look like. I am also skilled in treating anxiety, depression, codependency, personality disorders, impulse control, and other mental health conditions
