About
At age 50, I excitedly decided to go back to school to become a counselor after a long career in education. Why, you might ask? Because of you. I see people hurting and struggling to make sense of themselves and the world around them-and I have always been someone people come to when they need support. I have a great listening ear and a keen intuition and ability to connect. If you are struggling to manage change in your life, internal struggles, loss, relationship issues, depression, anxiety, (the list could go on), you are not alone. I have a singular goal: To help you heal and reach the goals you would like to meet for yourself. I specialize in women's mental health, specifically during the perimenopause/menopause transition; however, I work with adults of all ages and backgrounds to overcome whatever obstacles they face using client-centered clinical interventions that are flexible & adaptive, yet effective. My main modalities are CBT, MBSR, NET, and ACT.
