My name is Wendy Harding and I have been a school Psychologist for 12 years working with children from birth through high school. In the past four years I have been working towards transitioning to a full-time therapist to help adolescents and adults work through challenges. I am of Latino descent, however, consider myself to be Afro-Latina. I was born and raised in the Bronx, in NY, which means I have worked with people who are generally from the inner cities. In the first session, I usually go over the intake forms and learn about who you are and what you would like to gain in our work together. I try to let the client share what's most important and ask questions regarding what is shared to gain clarity as to how to proceed and move forward.
